Meet Dr. Scott Azari

Dr. Scott Azari proudly serves Port St. Lucie and the surrounding Vero Beach and Lakewood Park regions with exceptional comprehensive dentistry. We strive to make the highest quality services affordable to all patients through regular specials and in-house dental care plans. Dr. Scott Azari leads a state-of-the-art dental office conveniently located in the heart of Port St. Lucie at the Shoppes at St. Lucie West. Dr. Azari graduated from the prestigious Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2000.

He attended the University of Florida at Gainesville for his undergraduate studies and completed a combined residency program at Shands Hospital and the VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Azari grew up in South Florida and attended North Miami Beach Senior High. He has been a life member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association and is recognized by the National Consumer Advisory Board as one of America’s Best Dentists.

Dr. Rodrigo Arias

Dr. Rodrigo Arias is a dedicated general dentist in Port St. Lucie who provides comprehensive dental care with a strong focus on prevention, restorative treatment, gum health, and dental implants. He combines technical skill with a compassionate, patient-first philosophy, creating an experience that feels clear, supportive, and tailored to the individual. Patients appreciate the way he balances clinical precision with warmth, helping them feel heard, respected, and comfortable throughout treatment.

Dr. Arias earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and went on to complete his dental training at the prestigious Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association, reflecting his commitment to maintaining high standards in care and staying current with the latest research and advancements in dentistry. With a strong emphasis on education, trust, and long-term oral health, Dr. Arias works to help patients regain confidence in their smiles while building the kind of doctor-patient relationships that make care feel more personal and more effective.

Dr. Mikhail Gankin

Dr. Mikhail Gankin is an endodontist in Port St. Lucie known for his advanced clinical range, thoughtful care, and strong focus on relieving tooth pain and restoring oral health. His work includes endodontics, fixed restorative treatment, and more involved surgical care, giving patients access to a high level of skill when treatment becomes more complex. He understands how disruptive dental pain can be and is committed to helping patients move through treatment with clarity, comfort, and confidence.

For nearly 20 years, Dr. Gankin has earned the respect of his peers and the gratitude of his patients through his steady, highly attentive approach. He maintains close relationships with the dentists and oral surgeons who refer to him so patients can receive prompt, coordinated care when they need it most. Known for giving each case his full effort, Dr. Gankin is deeply committed to easing discomfort, overcoming obstacles to care, and helping patients protect their oral health with precision and consistency.

Dr. Mark Kogan

Dr. Mark Kogan is a board-certified, dual-degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with advanced training in dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, corrective jaw surgery, facial reconstruction, TMJ treatment, nerve repair, and trauma surgery. He is known for pairing surgical precision with a calm, compassionate approach that helps patients feel informed and at ease. By taking time to explain options clearly and guide decision-making carefully, he creates an experience that feels organized, supportive, and centered on the patient.

Dr. Kogan began his academic career at Rutgers University and earned his dental degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he graduated summa cum laude at the top of his class and became a member of Omicron Kappa Epsilon. He went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Rutgers University, received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School, and served as Chief Resident during his final year. His training also included multiple mission trips that gave him extensive experience in cleft repair. Dr. Kogan is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the American Medical Association, and he is known for using advanced tools such as virtual surgical planning to support more accurate, refined outcomes.

Dr. Safa Tahmasebi

Dr. Safa Tahmasebi is highly regarded for his expertise in immediate full-mouth implant reconstruction and advanced implant dentistry. He is known internationally for his work with complex implant cases and for lecturing on advanced techniques that continue to shape modern implant treatment. Patients benefit from a rare depth of experience in cases that require careful planning, surgical skill, and a strong understanding of how fixed implant restorations function over time.

Dr. Tahmasebi earned his DDS from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2009, then completed a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center followed by a Master’s in Prosthodontics at West Virginia University in 2013. He later served as Clinical Director at a Branemark Osseointegration center in Dubai and now teaches clinicians around the world as a faculty member at the Pikos Institute. He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology. In addition to his clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Tahmasebi brings a global perspective to patient care and speaks English, Arabic, and Farsi.
